Final Fall Harvest
One of the sweetest little volunteers who came out to pick our apples for donation today. Even the rainy weather couldn't stop our volunteers today.
So MANY CARROTS!! Two garden plots packed full of carrots.
Only one of the many bins full of apples that will head over to The Gleaners. This organization will dehydrate the apples into snack size pieces. Then they will be shipped to those in need in overseas countries. It is a snack that is considered a treat.
One of the two vehicles packed with vegetables to be delivered to Charities in Hamilton.
Yup...more carrots!!
kale, more Kale and yet even more Kale! Picking the last of it this morning. The garden is looking so empty and sad right now. Funny how even now, after all the hard work of the day harvesting, all I can think about is the growing season of 2016.
